You then take it around the island, interacting with other feline characters to better understand and train your new buddy.

Its strength lies in its focus on cats, although it’s quite weird how the cats create Teacats. Anyway, the people on the island are human-like, they talk to you, and have unique personalities. Although they play into certain character stereotypes, it works in this case as every one of them is starkly unique compared to each other, and yet everyone helps you achieve the same goal–get a unique Teacat.

As a visual novel, though, this game is frustratingly short. After getting to know your unique Teacat, the game almost instantly ends. It robs you of the hours of fun you should be having with your new and cute friend. After knowing the cat and tea that suits your personality, the game ends, although you can always restart to see other possible combinations.
